Seeing with the eyes of your understanding, Eph0118. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit, Eph0403. While we look not at the things which are seen (carnal ordinances, Heb0910), but at the things which are not seen (faith cometh by hearing, Rom1017): for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal, 2Co0418.
(1) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I (Jesus) speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life, Jhn0663.
(2) For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him, Jhn0334.
(3) Jesus...said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him, Jhn0716-18.
(4) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, Heb0101,02.
(5) How shall we escape (the wrath to come, 1Th0110), if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him, Heb0203.
(6) He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you, Jhn1424-26.
(7) As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God, 1Pe0410,11.
(8) Jesus
commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it
is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever
believeth
in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake
these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word,
Act1042-44.
(9) This only would I (Paul) learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law (carnal ordinances, Heb0910), or by the hearing of faith? Gal0202.
(10) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, Rom1017.
(11) If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light (light of the glorious gospel of Christ, 2Co0404) in them, Isa0820.
(12) The word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you, 1Pe0125.
(13) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin, 1Jn0105-07.
(14) Be
ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship
hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath
light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial?
or
what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement
hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the
living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in
them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore
come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will
be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith
the Lord Almighty, 2Co0614-18.
(15) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error, 1Jn0404-06.
(16) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever, 1Jn0215-17.
(17) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus (faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, Rom1017). For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus, Gal0326-28.
(18) Now I (Paul) beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment, 1Co0110.
(19) Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amo0303.
(20) He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit, 1Co0617.
