Dani 12: 8 (KJV)
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what
shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel:
for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the
wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand;
but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily
sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh
desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety
days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand
three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go thou thy way
till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at
the end of the days.
Deut 4: 23 (KJV)
Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the
LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven
image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath
forbidden thee. 24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire,
even a jealous God. 25 When thou shalt beget children, and children's
children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall
corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of
any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God,
to provoke him to anger: 26 I call heaven and earth to witness
against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off
the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not
prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27
And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall
be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall
lead you. 28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's
hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor
smell. 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God,
thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with
all thy soul.
2Kin 17: 32 (KJV)
So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest
of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them
in the houses of the high places. 33 They feared the LORD, and
served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they
carried away from thence. 34 Unto this day they do after the former
manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes,
or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which
the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
35 With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them saying,
Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor
serve them, nor sacrifice to them: 36 But the LORD, who brought
you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched
out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him
shall ye do sacrifice. 37 And the statutes, and the ordinances,
and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall
observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.
38 And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget;
neither shall ye fear other gods. 39 But the LORD your God ye
shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your
enemies. 40 Howbeit they did not hearken, but they did after their
former manner. 41 So these nations feared the LORD, and served
their graven images, both their children, and their children's
children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
Reve 17: 1 (KJV)
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials,
and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto
thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,
and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the
wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit
into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured
beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten
horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,
and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a
golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of
her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY,
BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE
EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the
saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when
I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said
unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery
of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the
seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17: 8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out
of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell
on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the
book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold
the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 And here is the
mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on
which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are
fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he
cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that
was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and
goeth into perdition. 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest
are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive
power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one
mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome
them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that
are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 15 And he saith
unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth,
are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16 And
the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate
the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat
her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their
hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom
unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth
over the kings of the earth.
Reve 2: 18 (KJV)
And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things
saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire,
and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity,
and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the
last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few
things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my
servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto
idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication;
and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed,
and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation,
except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her
children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am
he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto
every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say,
and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine,
and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I
will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have
already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcometh, and
keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the
nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the
vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I
received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto
the churches.
Matt 5: 17 (KJV)
Jesus said, Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the
prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily
I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Deut 4: 30 (KJV)
When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come
upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD
thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31 (For the LORD
thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither
destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he
sware unto them.
Roma 10: 9 (KJV)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth
unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on
him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between
the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto
all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name
of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him
in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in
him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without
a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent?
as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach
the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
Roma 5: 6 (KJV)
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died
for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die:
yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified
by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be
saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received
the atonement.
Hebr 9: 28 (KJV)
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto
them that look for him shall he appear the second time without
sin unto salvation.
Luke 17: 22 (KJV)
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall
desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall
not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there:
go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning,
that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto
the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in
his day. 25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected
of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall
it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they
drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until
the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came,
and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold,
they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went
out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed
them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of
man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the
housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to
take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not
return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek
to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life
shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall
be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall
be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall
be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field;
the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered
and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever
the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
Hebr 2: 1 (KJV)
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things
which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression
and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the
first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us
by them that heard him.
Luke 21: 8 (KJV)
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall
come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near:
go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars
and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first
come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10 Then said he unto
them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines,
and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there
be from heaven. 12 But before all these, they shall lay their
hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues,
and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my
name's sake. 13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14 Settle
it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall
answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your
adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16 And ye
shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks,
and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18 But
there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience
possess ye your souls. 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed
with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and
let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not
them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be
the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be
fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them
that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress
in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall
by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all
nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles,
until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luke 21: 25 (KJV)
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in
the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;
the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for
fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the
earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall
they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great
glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then
look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all
the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your
own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye,
when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom
of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation
shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth
shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34 And take
heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged
with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and
so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it
come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted
worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and
to stand before the Son of man.
Roma 8: 13 (KJV)
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through
the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again
to fear (death, Heb0215); but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby
we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with
our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children,
then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be
that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in
us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for
the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was
made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who
hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself
also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the
glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the
whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until
now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption
of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is
seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience
wait for it.
1Joh 3: 1 (KJV)
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world
knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we
the sons of God, and it
doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when
he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him
as he is (immortal). 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth
himself, even as he is pure.
1Cor 15: 50 (KJV)
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit
the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this
mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible
shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put
on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that
is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where
is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death
is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to
God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know
that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Acts 1: 10 (KJV)
And while they (apostles whom
he had chosen, Act0102) looked stedfastly
toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in
white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand
ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up
from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have
seen him go into heaven. 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem
from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a
sabbath day's journey.
Zech 14: 1 (KJV)
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided
in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against
Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the
houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall
go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not
be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and
fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives,
which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives
shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the
west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the
mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward
the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains;
for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye
shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the
days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come,
and all the saints with thee. 6 And it shall come to pass
in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But
it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day,
nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it
shall be light. 8 And it shall be in that day, that living
waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the
former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer
and in winter shall it be. 9 And the LORD shall be king over
all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his
name one. 10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba
to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited
in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first
gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto
the king's winepresses. 11 And men shall dwell in it, and there
shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely
inhabited.
Hebr 12: 22 (KJV)
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company
of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn,
which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and
to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator
of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh
better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him
that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake
on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from
him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth:
but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not
the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once
more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken,
as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be
shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot
be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably
with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Reve 14: 1 (KJV)
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with
him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's
name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from
heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great
thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before
the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song
but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed
from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women;
for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever
he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits
unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no
guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Reve 9: 1 (KJV)
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven
unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless
pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke
out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun
and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and
unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have
power. 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt
the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree;
but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but
that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was
as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6 And in
those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall
desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7 And the shapes
of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and
on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces
were as the faces of men. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women,
and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates,
as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings
was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings
in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11
And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless
pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek
tongue hath his name Apollyon. 12 One woe is past; and, behold,
there come two woes more hereafter.
Luke 21: 34 (KJV)
Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged
with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and
so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall
it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted
worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and
to stand before the Son of man.
1The 4: 14 (KJV)
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this
we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive
and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with
the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall
we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another
with these words.
John 5: 25 (KJV)
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is,
when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they
that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in himself;
so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath
given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the
Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in
the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection
of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of
damnation.
1The 5: 1 (KJV)
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that
I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day
of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when
they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh
upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall
not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that
day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children
of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night,
nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but
let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the
night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But
let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate
of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation
by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether
we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
2The 2: 1 (KJV)
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not
soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by
word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at
hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall
not come, except there come a falling away first, and that
man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and
exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself
that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with
you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth
that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of
iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let,
until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked
be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his
mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness
of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for
this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not
the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13 But we are
bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of
the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation
through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of
the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Reve 13: 11 (KJV)
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he
had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he
exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth
the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast,
whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders,
so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the
sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by
the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight
of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that
they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound
by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life
unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should
both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image
of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both
small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark
in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man
might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the
beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that
hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the
number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore
and six.
Dani 9: 24 (KJV)
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy
city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins,
and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting
righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to
anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from
the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem
unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore
and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall,
even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks
shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and (after an interval known only to the Father,
cf.Mrk1332) the people of the prince
that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and
the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the
war desolations are determined. 27 And
he (the prince that shall
come) shall confirm the covenant
with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall
cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading
of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Matt 24: 15 (KJV)
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea
flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not
come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him
which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck
in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation,
such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be
shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's
sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say
unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you
before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is
in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers;
believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east,
and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will
the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation
of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the
powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear
the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming
in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And
he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and
they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from
one end of heaven to the other.
Reve 14: 6 (KJV)
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the
everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth,
and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying
with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the
hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven,
and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there
followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen,
that great city, because she made all nations drink of the
wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed
them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast
and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his
hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence
of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they
have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image,
and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience
of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying
unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from
henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their
labours; and their works do follow them.
Reve 20: 4 (KJV)
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given
unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for
the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received
his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived
and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Reve 6: 9 (KJV)
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the
souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice,
saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge
and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And
white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said
unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until
their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed
as they were, should be fulfilled.
Reve 7: 9 (KJV)
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man
could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues,
stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with
white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud
voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the
throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before
the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen:
Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour,
and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these
which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And
I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These
are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed
their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day
and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall
dwell among them.
Reve 17: 15 (KJV)
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the
whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Reve 19: 6 (KJV)
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as
the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings,
saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 7 Let
us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage
of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen,
clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called
unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These
are the true sayings of God.
Zeph 1: 14 (KJV)
The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly,
even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry
there bitterly. 15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble
and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness
and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 A day of
the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the
high towers. 17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they
shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the
LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh
as the dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able
to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole
land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall
make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation
not desired; 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass
as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you,
before the day of the LORD's anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye
the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in
the day of the LORD's anger.
1The 4: 13 (KJV)
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which
have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and
with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall
we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another
with these words. 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren,
ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly
that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they
shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness,
that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all
the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not
of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as
do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep
sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the
night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on
the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope
of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but
to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died
for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together
with him. 11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify
one another, even as also ye do.
Ephe 1: 10 (KJV)
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven,
and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have
obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the
purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his
own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory,
who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after
that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that
holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise
of his glory.
Reve 9: 13 (KJV)
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four
horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 Saying to the
sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which
are bound in the great river
Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared
for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the
third part of men. 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen
were two hundred
thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 17 And thus
I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having
breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads
of the horses were as
the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke
and brimstone. 18 By these three was the third part of men killed,
by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued
out of their
mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails:
for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with
them they do hurt. 20 And the rest of the men which were not
killed by these plagues yet
repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not
worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and
stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries,
nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Reve 10: 1 (KJV)
And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed
with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was
as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2 And he
had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot
upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3 And cried with
a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven
thunders uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had
uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice
from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven
thunders uttered, and write them not. 5 And the angel which I
saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to
heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who
created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth,
and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which
are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in
the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin
to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared
to his servants the prophets.
Reve 10: 7 (KJV)
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall
begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath
declared to his servants the prophets. 8 And the voice which I
heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the
little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth
upon the sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went unto the angel,
and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me,
Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but
it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little
book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my
mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly
was bitter. 11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before
many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. 11:1 And there
was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying,
Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that
worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple
leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:
and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall
prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in
sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt
them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their
enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner
be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not
in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn
them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often
as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony,
the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make
war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord
was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues
and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half,
and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them,
and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these
two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And
after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered
into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell
upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from
heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up
to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And
the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part
of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven
thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the
God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third
woe cometh quickly.
Reve 11: 15 (KJV)
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in
heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms
of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and
ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before
God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art,
and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy
great power, and hast reigned. 18 And the nations were angry,
and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they
should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy
servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy
name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy
the earth. 19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven,
and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and
there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake,
and great hail.
Job 38: 22 (KJV)
Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou
seen the treasures of the hail, 23 Which I have reserved against
the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
Reve 16: 21 (KJV) And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Ezek 38: 14 (KJV)
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely,
shalt thou not know it? 15 And thou shalt come from thy place
out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of
them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: 16
And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud
to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will
bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when
I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. 17 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time
by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those
days many years that I would bring thee against them? 18 And it
shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against
the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come
up in my face. 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath
have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking
in the land of Israel; 20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the
fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping
things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon
the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains
shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every
wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword
against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every
man's sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead
against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon
him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with
him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will
be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that
I am the LORD.
Jere 51: 42 (KJV)
The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude
of the waves thereof. 43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land,
and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth
any son of man pass thereby. 44 And I will punish Bel in Babylon,
and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed
up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him:
yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. 45 My people, go ye out of
the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce
anger of the LORD. 46 And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for
the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both
come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour,
and violence in the land, ruler against ruler. 47 Therefore, behold,
the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images
of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her
slain shall fall in the midst of her. 48 Then the heaven and the
earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the
spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD. 49
As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon
shall fall the slain of all the earth.
